CNC operators work with vendor software that is cluttered and hard to use on a shop-floor touchscreen. The machine builder wanted its own operating panel — job queue, diagnostics and file transfer — on top of an existing industrial controller.

A Flutter kiosk app (dashboard, job queue, diagnostics, file-transfer panel) talks to a Python FastAPI bridge that drives the controller. File transfer to the controller over USB works; machine telemetry, jogging and the spindle run in a built-in simulator until the controller's serial protocol is verified.
